1. What is Click to Pay?

Click to Pay is a new way to pay at online stores. Simply link your cards to Click to Pay using your email and mobile number, and you'll no longer need to type your 16-digit card number, expiry date, or CVV every time you purchase from online merchants.

2. What are the benefits of using Click to Pay with KAF DB?

KAF DB has integrated Click to Pay to give you an experience that's fast, easy, and secure. Key benefits include:

  1. Completing your purchases more quickly at checkout, using only your mobile number or email address.
  2. Not having to remember any card details.

3. How do I set up Click to Pay?

Setting up your profile takes less than a minute, and can be done in two convenient ways:

  1. At Checkout: Select the Click to Pay icon during your next purchase and verify your identity via an OTP sent to your mobile number or email address.
  2. Pre-Enrollment: Visit the official Visa Click to Pay portal to link your card in advance.

Once this is done, KAF DB will automatically recognise your device for all future purchases.

4. How do I use Click to Pay at an online store?

When completing an online purchase, you'll see the Click to Pay option at checkout. Here's how to use it:

  1. Choose Click to Pay as your payment option.
  2. Log in using the email address or phone number you used to link your card to Click to Pay.
  3. Enter the OTP sent to your email address or phone number.
  4. Select your KAF DB Debit Card-i.
  5. Tap to confirm your payment.

5. Is it secure?

Yes. Click to Pay uses tokenization, which replaces your card number with a unique digital "token." Even if a merchant's database is ever compromised, your real card details stay securely stored in KAF's vault and are never exposed on the public web (Invisible Data Policy).

6. Where can I use Click to Pay?

You can use Click to Pay at any online checkout that displays the Click to Pay iconand the Visa icon.

7. Does it cost anything to use?

Click to Pay is completely free. KAF DB does not charge any subscription or transaction fees.

Note: Standard transaction limits apply based on your account tier (Basic Plus or Premium).

8. What happens if I change my email or mobile number?

You can update your details during checkout with an online merchant that displays the Click to Pay icon . Alternatively, you can visit Visa's card management portal to update your Click to Pay details.

9. How do I opt out of Click to Pay?

We're sorry to see you go, but we're happy to help. Please contact our Customer Support team for assistance:

  • Call us at 03-8744 3331, or
  • Chat with us via WhatsApp at 012-473 8744.

Alternatively, you can delete your registered card during checkout, or visit Visa's card management portal to remove your Visa card from Click to Pay.

10. Can I use Click to Pay for foreign or international online purchases?

Yes. You can use Click to Pay at any overseas or international online merchant that displays the Click to Pay logo and accepts Visa.

11. What happens if my KAF DB Debit Card-i is renewed or replaced? Do I need to re-enroll?

In most cases, no action is needed. When your card is renewed, Visa's tokenization technology automatically updates your card details behind the scenes, so your Click to Pay profile stays up to date.

If your renewed or replaced card doesn't update automatically, your payment may be declined at checkout. If this happens:

  1. Log into your Click to Pay profile via the Visa Click to Pay portal.
  2. Remove the old, expired card.
  3. Re-add your new card number, expiry date, and CVV.

Once re-added, you can continue using Click to Pay as usual.

12. What should I do if I see an unrecognised Click to Pay charge?

If you notice a Click to Pay transaction you don't recognise, lock your Debit Card-i immediately in the KAF DB app, then contact Customer Support at 03-8744 3331 to raise a dispute.

13. Why was my Click to Pay transaction declined, or why didn't I receive an OTP?

This can happen for a few reasons. Please check that online purchases are enabled in your KAF DB app, verify that you haven't exceeded your daily transaction limit, or wait 60 seconds before tapping “Resend OTP.”

14. How do refunds work for Click to Pay purchases?

Refunds for Click to Pay purchases work the same way as any other card payment. The merchant processes the refund to your Debit Card-i, and it will appear in your transaction history via the KAF DB app once the merchant completes it.

15. I don't want to be automatically enrolled into Click to Pay. What can I do?

KAF DB will be automatically enrolling eligible Visa cardholders into Click to Pay when it launches on 9 September 2026. If you'd prefer not to be enrolled, call our Customer Support team at 03-8744 3331 to opt out by 1 September 2026.

If you miss this date, you can still remove your card yourself at any time by deleting it during checkout or via Visa's card management portal.
