SecureKAF: Enhanced Transaction Security by Utilising 3 Domains Secure (3DS) as a Payment Authorisation in KAF Digital Bank Mobile Application
In our commitment to fortifying your online transactions, KAF Digital Bank (KAF DB) would like to introduce SecureKAF, a 3D Secure authentication system. When making a purchase, an additional authentication step is added. 3D Secure (3DS) is a security protocol developed to add an additional layer of authentication for online credit and debit card transactions.
The goal of 3D Secure is to reduce the risk of unauthorised transactions and enhance the overall security of online payments. The most common implementation of 3D Secure is known as "Verified by Visa" for Visa cards and "MasterCard SecureCode" for MasterCard.
This usually involves the cardholder providing extra information, such as a one-time password, to authorise the transaction. In KAF DB, we practise 1-tap authorisation in which you decide whether to approve or reject a transaction once the SecureKAF page pops-up on your smartphone.
Rest assured, you'll only get a SecureKAF request if there's a legit transaction in progress. Now, in certain circumstances that you have multiple SecureKAF authentications to handle, we've made the flow pretty simple for our users.
They'll pop-up, one by one on your screen, starting with the oldest request. Your transactions, your control — and you're done!
