Forgot 6-digit PIN
Let's break down the general process of recovering a forgotten 6-digit PIN in a simpler way:
- Forgot PIN:
- If you forgot your 6-digit PIN, you can start the recovery process on the Pre-Login Dashboard.
- Attempts Limit:
- For registered devices, the system checks the number of attempts.
- If you exceed one attempt within a 12-hour period, you'll only be allowed another single attempt after the lapse of that 12-hour timeframe.
- Forgot PIN Process:
- Initiating the “Forgot PIN” process requires you to redo the e-KYC (Know Your Customer) process.
- This includes verifying your identification documents (ID), facial recognition (face scan verification), and a liveness check.
- You'll be notified about this process through email and push notification.
- Verification Process:
- After completing the e-KYC (online identity verification), the system verifies your information.
- If successful, you proceed to set up a new PIN.
- PIN Setup:
- Upon successful PIN setup, a status page is displayed.
- You need to wait until your self- identity verification results are available.
- Self- Identity Verification Results:
- If the self- identity verification results are "Pass," you can log in after a buffer period of 12 hours.
- Buffer Period:
- The buffer period applies only if the self- identity verification result is "Pass".
- If the result is "Under Review" or "Fail," the buffer period is bypassed. There is no 12 hour buffer period entitled for these status.
- Failed Self- Identity Verification Result:
- If the self-identity verification result is "Fail" or "Under Review," you are allowed to have another single attempt after the lapse of the 12-hour timeframe.
- Incorrect PIN Entry:
- If you fail to enter the correct PIN during the reconfirmation, you'll receive a toast message (popup message) indication there is an error.
- You will need to input the correct PIN once again.
