Whether you've lost your device or you're logging in for the first time after onboarding, KAF Digital Bank (KAF DB) ensures a secure and straightforward process to get you back on track.
Follow these steps to regain access to your account with ease.
Lost Device or First-Time Login After Onboarding
- Login Initiation:
Enter your username and click “Login” to start the process.
- Device Unfamiliarity:
Encounter the message "This device seems unfamiliar" and proceed.
- Register Device:
Tap "Register Device" to initiate the process.
- Lost Device Confirmation:
Choose "Yes, I Lost My Device" and await email and push notifications.
- E-KYC Process:
Redo the e-KYC (online identity verification) process, including identification documents (ID) verification and facial recognition (face scan verification).
- PIN and Biometric Setup:
Set up a new 6-digit PIN and your biometric.
- Confirmation and Thank You:
See the Acknowledgement Screen confirming success or failure. Tap "Done".
- Success Confirmation:
If successful, receive email and push notifications.
- Login Restriction:
After 12 hours, you can log in as usual, with restrictions during this period. However, you cannot use your app during this period, which we call the Cooling Period.
- Failed Attempt Options:
If it fails, retry e-KYC (online identity verification) or contact Customer Service for manual review.
- Recovery Attempts:
You can re-initiate the account access restoration process as needed. However, you are only allowed to do so once every 12 hours.
