Stay informed and in control with the Notifications feature in the KAF Digital Bank (KAF DB) app. This tool allows you to manage and view alerts, keeping you updated on important account activities.
Whether you want to review, delete, or filter notifications, this guide will walk you through the simple steps to navigate this feature and ensure you never miss a critical update.
Retrieve Notifications
- App Entry:
Begin by launching the app and effortlessly logging in with your fingerprint or face ID.
- Navigating to Notifications:
On the Dashboard, access the three-line Menu icon located at the bottom right of your screen.
- Selecting Notifications:
Within the menu options, choose "Notifications" to explore recent alerts and updates.
- Filter and Search:
Efficiently locate specific notifications by leveraging the Filter and Search Bar functionalities.
- Detailed View:
For a detailed view, tap on the notification of interest to unveil its particulars.
View and Delete Notifications
- Accessing the App:
Launch the app and effortlessly log in using your fingerprint or face ID.
- Navigating to Notifications:
On the Dashboard, tap the three-line Menu icon at the bottom right.
- Notification Centre:
Select "Notifications" from the menu options.
- Inspecting Notification Details:
Choose any notification you wish to explore further and tap on it.
- Clearing Unwanted Notifications:
Tap the Dustbin icon positioned on the right to initiate the removal process.
- Confirming Removal:
A confirmation pop-up will appear; proceed by tapping "Remove".
- Notification Successfully Removed:
Acknowledge the successful removal, and witness the seamless organisation of your notifications.
Crafting Your Notifications Preferences by Filtering
- Entering the App Space:
Launch the app and seamlessly log in using your fingerprint or face ID.
- Navigating to Notifications:
On the Dashboard, locate and tap the three-line Menu icon at the bottom right.
- Accessing Notification Settings:
From the menu, choose "Notifications".
- Activating the Filtering Icon:
Inside “Notifications”, tap on the Funnel icon to access the filter settings.
- Category Selection:
Tick the boxes corresponding to your desired categories:
- All Alerts
- Account Alerts
- Security Alerts
- Transaction Alerts
- Promotion Alerts
- Applying Your Choices:
Confirm your selections by tapping "Apply".
- Bespoke Notifications:
Witness a refined list of notifications tailored to your chosen categories.
Additional Insights
- Unread Count Display:
The three-line Menu icon will display the total count of unread notifications for your awareness.
- Backend Service Alerts:
In the event of any backend service disruption while fetching notifications, a toast message (popup message) will notify you: "Backend Service Failure, Please try again after some time!".
