If you've previously initiated the application and have your temporary credentials (temporary login information) ready, resuming your application is very much doable. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to pick up where you left off on your onboarding process in the KAF Digital Bank (KAF DB) mobile application.
The Red Banner Alert: Tossing You Off Track
At times, a red banner might suddenly appear at the top of your screen, indicating an error during the onboarding process. This unwelcome message, also known as a 'toast message', basically stops the application from working. Trying to click buttons doesn't do anything.
Probable Culprits Behind Application Issues
- Software Bugs:
Within the app, glitches or bugs could trigger crashes or hinder the completion of your onboarding journey. For instance, a simple bug in form validation might prevent you from submitting the application, even if all required fields are filled correctly.
- Network Connectivity:
Unstable or weak internet connections could disrupt the application process, leading to timeouts or incomplete loading.
- Third-party Integrations:
Banks often rely on external services (third-party services) for identity verification or payments. Issues with these integrations might obstruct your progress.
- Device Compatibility:
Not all mobile banking apps are compatible with every device or operating system. If your device is incompatible, it might result in installation problems or frequent crashes.
- High Demand or Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) Attacks:

Steps in Resuming Your Journey
- Launching the App:
Open the app, and you will be on the Login page.
- Initiating Signup:
Tap on "Signup".
- Selecting Resume Application:
Choose "Resume Application" from the pop-up.
- Entering Credentials:
Input the Temporary Username and Temporary Password received in the email.
Additional Information:
- If the app is force-closed or accidentally closed, you can resume your application.
- Utilise the provided temporary username and temporary password to resume from the previous point.
- You can only proceed directly to Step 2, the Contact Details page (Step 2 in the Tells Us About section).
- Editing is limited to user details only.
