Terms and Conditions: "Hibah Setia Hati 250k" Campaign
Effective Date: 22 July 2026
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the "Hibah Setia Hati 250k Campaign" (“Campaign”) organised by KAF Digital Bank Berhad (“KAF DB”). The Campaign is a milestone-based brand awareness and behavioural activation initiative designed to celebrate KAF DB crossing 250,000 application downloads.
By participating in this Campaign, participants explicitly agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, including all data-sharing and operational validation rules specified herein.
2. Campaign Period & Important Cut-Offs
2.1 The Campaign registration window runs from 22 July 2026 until 31 August 2026, both dates inclusive ("Campaign Period").
2.2 To allow adequate time for operational onboarding, the final deadline to satisfy all operational eligibility criteria (including digital account activation and electronic Know Your Customer verification) is strictly set to 31 August 2026 at 23:59:59 ("Eligibility Cut-off").
3. Eligibility Criteria & Participant Segmentation
3.1 The Campaign is open to Malaysian citizens aged eighteen (18) years and above, who meet the eligibility criteria for any of the three (3) participant segments set out under Clause 3.3 below and complete the required verification process:
3.2 Accounts that are suspended, frozen, closed, or under regulatory investigation at any point during the Campaign Period or the data-matching phase are strictly disqualified. Nonetheless, active, zero-balance accounts are fully eligible.
3.3 Participants are segmented as follows:
| Participant Segment | Definition & Operational Trigger |
|---|---|
| Existing Activated Users | Current KAF DB account holders (including active zero-balance accounts) who complete the mandatory Campaign minisite registration during the Campaign Period. |
| Onboarded but Unactivated Users | Registered users who have initiated application setup but must execute their outstanding e-KYC activation credit transfers by the Eligibility Cut-off. |
| New-To-Bank (NTB) Prospects | Prospects from marketing distribution lists and public audiences who register on the Campaign minisite, download the KAF DB App, and clear full e-KYC onboarding by the Eligibility Cut-off. |
4. Participation Mechanism
Participation in this Campaign requires participants to complete the following multi-step process as follows:
Step 1: Minisite Registration & Consent
The participant must visit the external Campaign minisite landing page during the Campaign Period and enter their primary email address. The participant must acknowledge or check a mandatory disclaimer box confirming that email typographical errors, data mismatches, or an "OFF" status on the 3rd-party data sharing toggle may result in immediate and irreversible reward forfeiture.
Step 2: Account Activation & e-KYC
The participant must successfully complete full app onboarding and clear e-KYC verification. For unactivated or new users, an activation credit transfer must be completed before the Eligibility Cut-off.
Step 3: 3rd-Party Data Sharing Toggle
The participant must explicitly set the 3rd-Party Data Sharing Toggle to "ON" in the KAF DB mobile application settings. This permission must remain enabled throughout the Campaign Period and the post-campaign validation phase to allow for the lawful transfer of fulfilment data to the financial literacy partner, POD Smart.
5. Data Validation & the “Single-Email Index Rule”
5.1 The absolute verification key for Campaign qualification is the email address entered by the participant on the external Campaign minisite landing page ("Single-Email Index Rule").
5.2 To be qualified for the prize draw pool, the exact email registered on the minisite must match the email address linked to the participant's active KAF DB App account and their active POD Smart App account.
5.3 Minor differences in letter casing or spaces will be automatically normalised by the system during the validation process. No other corrections or manual amendments will be made.
6. Prizes & Selection Mechanism
6.1 The total promotional reward pool is capped at RM 2,500.00 cash-equivalent, represented by 250,000 POD Points.
6.2 Individual Reward Allocation: A total of twenty-five (25) winners will be selected. Each winner will receive a fixed allocation of 10,000 POD Points (equivalent to a notional value of RM 100.00).
6.3 Randomized Draw: Within seven (7) business days of end of Campaign Period, an internal data script will verify eligible minisite entries against active bank accounts that satisfy all requirements under Clause 4 above. Twenty-five (25) winners will then be selected via a computerized random selection process. The selection is backed by an unmodifiable matching log for Shariah and compliance auditing.
7. Reward Fulfilment & Partner Integration
7.1 The selected twenty-five (25) winners will have their 10,000 POD Points credited directly to their corresponding POD Smart email accounts within seven (7) business days from the official draw announcement. Winners will be notified via in-app secure messaging and their registered email.
7.2 Prizes are non-transferable outside the POD ecosystem, non-exchangeable for cash, and subject to the applicable terms and conditions of the POD Smart mobile rewards platform. POD Points issued through this Campaign carry no expiry date.
8. General Legal Terms
8.1 By participating in the Campaign, participants acknowledge and explicitly consent to KAF DB collecting, using, cross-referencing, and processing their personal data for the purposes of Campaign validation, compliance auditing, and reward fulfilment in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Data will be securely shared with partner POD Smart strictly to facilitate point crediting under the campaign-indexed profile.
8.2 The campaign reward utilizes a Shariah-vetted, unconditional "Hibah" structure. The reward is structured as a generic milestone gift and is entirely decoupled from deposit placement volumes, account balances, or financial commitments.
8.3 KAF DB reserves the right to amend, vary, or withdraw any terms of this Campaign, or to suspend operations, where necessary due to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) regulatory requirements, compliance considerations, or unforeseen system interruptions. Any updates will be officially broadcasted through established digital banking channels.
8.4 KAF DB reserves the right to determine a participant's eligibility based on its records. Any failure to satisfy the eligibility requirements, including email mismatch not attributable to KAF DB, may result in disqualification.
8.5 KAF DB reserves the right, at any time during Campaign Period, to verify a participant's identity, eligibility and compliance with these Terms and Conditions, including requesting additional information or documentation where necessary for reward fulfilment purposes.
8.6 KAF DB reserves the right to disqualify any participant who is suspected of fraud, abuse, manipulation of the Campaign mechanics, provision of false information or any conduct that, in KAF DB's reasonable opinion, compromises the integrity or fairness of the Campaign.
8.7 Participant agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless KAF DB and its affiliates, officers, and employees against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses arising out of or related to the Participant’s breach of these terms or participation in this Campaign.
8.8 To the fullest extent permitted by law, KAF DB, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, costs or expenses arising out of or in connection with the Campaign, including any technical malfunction, system error, interruption, telecommunications failure, third-party platform failure, internet connectivity issue or any circumstance beyond KAF DB's reasonable control.
8.9 Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of Malaysia. Any unresolved disputes arising from the Campaign mechanics shall be referred to KAF DB's internal resolution frameworks, subject always to the participant's statutory right to seek redress through official Malaysian financial dispute channels or the courts of Malaysia.
